A Busy Day

Yesterday was busy in the dog  world.

We had our first visitors out to see the pups.

Later we took advantage of the nice weather and pretty colors and went to the river.

The dogs couldn't be happier.

So happy that Sandy even jumped out on our way and scuffed up her chin!

Here are the beautiful parents of our current litter.

They dream of being cattle dogs someday but for now they'll just watch them.

They know what really happens when they go after those cows, the cows turn on them and charge!
The dogs tuck their tails and run for lives and their dream of being a fearless stock dog is over.

Huck helps (gets in the way actually) as Sam tries to load up some wood.

Everyone loves the river!

And after 2 inches of rain a couple days ago, the current was almost too much for them.

Mr. Huck

I think he was chasing the rocks the boys were throwing in the water.

Give it up Huck.  One should know you never win a battle with Libby over her stick.

But he'd really like to have that stick.
I think he's pouting.

I was too busy taking pictures of my dogs that I neglected my own children.

Time to go home.
Puppies are going fast!  If you're interested, be ready to put down a deposit to reserve one.
