Brief Update

Guess who hates her life again?
Me.
My brand new, had to send back for a new one, hotspot isn't working.
I have called a few times and each time I talk to two or three people all of whom tell me to turn it off and turn it back on.
Do you sense my frustration?
DO YOU???
So, I have about a week's worth of pictures that are about obsolete now since the puppies are changing so much.
Not to mention, I don't even know where to start.
Before I start, I have also updated the Available Puppies page too.

So I'll start with all the visitors we've been having to come play, pick out, and look at them.

They are the perfect "holding" age.

Originally, my son said he wanted to go to summer school
to be in the big building with the big kids.
Until today, and he'd rather do this.

Litter A got moved to the grass.  Until the sun beat down on them.

Then we moved them to the barn where it was a little cooler.

Don't ask me who Sophia is holding.
I'd take a guess, but that would be all it would be.

Here, I think she's got Abby.

Somehow the puppies all got placed in the same place.

And Candy didn't seem to mind feeding both litters either!!!

Here's some more guests who came and picked out their sweet puppy.

They chose Bailey who I think will be named Marley.

This guy picked out Andy who said he was going to name Captain America.

And more visitors!  They chose Amelia.
There.  Finally an update.  Not my best work.  Heck, it's not really in any kind of order.  But it will have to do for now.  Thanks for your patience!
Really.  Thanks!

Happy Saturday!

Another busy week!
The puppies are growing like crazy!
So much that it's hard to distinguish between the litters.  I have to look at the pool they're in.
Litter #1 is in the big pool with sharks and whales in it.
Litter #2 is in the plain blue pool.
So this is Litter #2, the young ones.

Litter #2 again.

Here's Litter #1, the old ones.
They are obviously bigger and their eyes are open.
However, it's hard to tell any of that by the pictures.

#2 again...thought they were all in order.

My son here has been taking up a lot of my time lately.  Even more so than usual.
He hurt himself 2 weeks ago and we've been in and out of doctor visits until they finally decided to put a cast on it.
He also graduated from preschool.
No one cares?? Oh. . . Fine.

We also had a little visitor this week.
Remember Millie from our October litter?
She's back!  Her owner's brother will be getting a puppy!!
Okay, okay!
Back to the puppies.
Here's Litter #1 again.

#1 again.
I did do something that might actually be helpful to all (and I do mean all) the people wanting puppies.  Actually, it will only be helpful to the people wanting a puppy from the #1 litter.

I updated the Available Puppies page again with individual pictures of our May 1 litter.
Why didn't you do that with the May 10 litter?
Don't start with me, I'm a little overwhelmed here!
Sorry. . . But I am.

I apologize for not being too good on the updating process lately.
It has been a busy time of year and a struggle to photograph squirmy puppies.

We are enjoying them though.
And this first litter is getting so big.
This is my nephew on Mother's Day.  He didn't want to get much closer.

Plus, every time he leaned in, he got himself high-
centered.

My son is giving this one the proper evaluation.
He now has a cast on that left arm...another thing keeping us busy.

This is our darkest male of the first litter.
I think he is our darkest one we've had yet.

They have their eyes opened now too.  Pictures become much more fun now!
People, these pictures were taken a couple days ago and there are 11 that look just like this one.  So if you ask me which one this is, I may have to lie and make it up like I really know for sure.
Thanks for your understanding.

Same with this one.

My cousin was down for Mother's Day.
It's always a nice little "freak show" to bring the fam down the Maria and Sam's house with all the dogs.

Litter 2 puppy on the right
If you go on over to my Available Puppies link, I have some updated ones of the new litter.  I'll keep trying to get some close ups so those interested can get a good look.

Ooopsie!

You are never going to believe this. . .
We are crazy.
This is crazy.
I'm going to become an advocate speaker to prove accidents can happen.

And look what it gets you into when they do.

Folks, our home is now consumed with 22 puppies.
Look who it is again.
Candy.
This is what I woke up to this morning.

Were we shocked?
Well, not this morning.
We were when we noticed her expanding belly.

This was supposed to have been prevented.
We had a pen built for these kind of preventative measures.
Guess whom we forgot to express the importance of keeping Candy locked up?
HIM!!!
The dogs always run together.  So why were we keeping Candy away from them?  So he let her out after preschool one day.  I came out of the house and saw her in the yard.

But it was too late.
Huck, don't give me that look.
You're a scoundrel.
8 girls, 3 boys in this litter, folks.

One Week Old

Before I get started on today's post I want to show you some pictures of my boys.  They were taken just a couple short weeks ago by a photographer who also came to get a puppy from the last litter.  I'm showing you them because I want you to remember these  and not the ones to follow.
They were happy (sort of).
They were clean.

And for one sweet moment,
all was right with the world.

But alas. . .those kind of moments are very short lived
around here.  They soon become filthy.

But aside from my dirty, strange kids, the puppies turned one week old yesterday and are really growing!

We moved them out to the screened in porch for the day.
Turns out it was genius, I could just shut the door to the house
and keep the boys out there as well.

Funny how after 4 litters of puppies around here, my youngest son thinks nothing of turning the puppy upside down for its mama to clean.
Just standard procedure around here.

Too bad he forgets to turn it back right side up.

Here's my niece.  She's not quite as dirty as my boys and loves
to sit with the puppies.
I think her words were,
"Uh, Aunt Mia?  I think this one yikes me.  Yeah, he yikes me because he stays on my yap."

Shouldn't be much longer and those puppies' eyes will start opening.
